How to Use Card Tags (Review Cards by Tag)

Use tags to organize cards inside a deck

Card tags let you mark related cards so you can find or review them more easily later.

Add tags

You can add tags from:

• the "Cards" screen for a deck
• the card editor
• the review menu while studying

Review only tagged cards

Once a deck has tagged cards, you can use tag filters on the deck's review or settings screen to study only that subset.

Helpful special cases

• Starred cards are useful when you want to come back to important cards later.
• Ignored cards are useful when you want cards excluded from normal review for now.
