Can I change the order of my flashcards?

Yes

You can change the order in which cards are shown by changing the deck's "Review Mode" setting.

Common options

  • "FSRS": the current default for new decks. Cards are selected intelligently using the FSRS spaced repetition model.
  • "Random Shuffle": cards appear in random order.
  • "In Created Order": cards appear in the order they were created.

How to change it

  1. Open the deck.
  2. Open its settings.
  3. Find "Review Mode".
  4. Choose the mode you want.

Which mode should I use?

For most people, "FSRS" is the best choice because it adapts to your review history and tries to show cards when they are most useful to review. Use "Random Shuffle" or "In Created Order" only if you want a simpler fixed ordering.
