Review cards in both directions

AlgoApp can review the same card in more than one direction.

For modern decks, use the deck's "Card Orientation" setting to decide which side is shown first during review.

How to change card orientation

1. Open the deck.
2. Open "Settings".
3. Open "Card Orientation".
4. Choose one of these options:
   • "Front-to-back"
   • "Back-to-front"
   • "Mixed"

What each option means

• "Front-to-back": the front side is shown first.
• "Back-to-front": the back side is shown first.
• "Mixed": each reviewed card is shown in either normal or reversed orientation at random.

Important limitation

Card Orientation changes presentation during review, but it does not create two separately tracked versions of the same card.

If one direction feels easy and the other feels hard, the app will not keep separate progress or separate difficulty levels for those two directions when you are only changing orientation.

If you want separate progress for each direction

Create two cards instead:

• one card with your native language on the front and Korean on the back
• one card with Korean on the front and your native language on the back

That gives each direction its own review history and difficulty.

If you do not see "Card Orientation"

Some older or heavily customized decks use layouts instead of the modern Card Orientation setting.

In those decks, open the layout selector and choose a reverse or back-to-front layout if one is available.
