How to Study Decks Back-to-Front?

Review the back first

  1. Open the deck's "Settings" section.
  2. Choose "Card Orientation".
  3. Select "Reversed" and start review.

Choose "Normal" to return to the usual direction, or "Mixed" to vary the orientation randomly.

If there is no Card Orientation setting

Legacy decks use a layout selector. Choose a back-to-front layout if the deck includes one. You can edit layouts for a legacy deck you own.

Changing orientation or selecting a reverse layout does not create separate progress for each direction. See reviewing in both directions.
