What are Study Groups and when should I use them?
What Study Groups are
Study Groups let you share decks with many people at once using a group instead of entering email addresses one by one.
When to use them
Study Groups are useful when you want to share with:
- a class
- a tutoring group
- a team
- a recurring group of learners
How they differ from direct email sharing
- Email sharing is best for one person or a small number of people.
- Study Groups are better when you want one reusable group that can receive shared decks over time.
Typical workflow
- Create a new "Study Group".
- Share the group's invite link with the people who should join.
- Open a deck and choose "Share".
- In the share dialog, choose the "Study Groups" tab.
- Share the deck to the group.
Good to know
People in the Study Group can review the decks you share there, but the group is still a controlled sharing space. It is not the same as publishing a deck publicly.
