How do I add audio to a flashcard?

Add an Audio field

1. Create a deck using the "Audio" type from "Browse all", or open "Edit Deck" on a deck you own and add an Audio field.
2. Select the sides on which that field should appear and save the deck configuration.
3. Create or edit a card.
4. In the Audio field, choose "Choose" to attach an audio file, or "Record" to record with your microphone.
5. Save the card.

Recording requires microphone permission. File playback and recording support can vary by device and browser.

Read text aloud instead

A Text-to-Speech field generates speech from text. Choose the appropriate language in the field settings. This is separate from attaching a recording, and generating speech that is not already available can require a connection.

Before studying offline, allow audio files to finish downloading on that device.
