Export decks from Anki (APKG) for use with AlgoApp

Export from Anki Desktop

1. Select the deck you want to transfer.
2. Choose "File" > "Export".
3. Select the Anki Deck Package (.apkg) format and the intended deck.
4. Include media if it uses images or audio, then save the file.

Choose .apkg rather than a Collection Package (.colpkg). See the Anki export manual if the options in your Anki version differ.

Import into AlgoApp

Open "Import Decks" > "APKG", select the file, and begin the import while online.

Supported content and note tags transfer; tags are normalized to lowercase. Anki review history and scheduling do not transfer, even if they were included in the export. Preview cards after import, especially if the original deck depends on custom templates or add-ons.
