Can I use my existing Anki (APKG) decks with AlgoApp?

Import an Anki deck package

1. Export the deck from Anki Desktop as an .apkg file, including media if needed.
2. In AlgoApp, choose "Import Decks" and select "APKG".
3. Select the file, start the import, and wait for it to finish.

APKG import needs an internet connection. Large decks take longer. If you only need part of a collection, export individual decks first.

What transfers

Supported card content, included images/audio, and Anki note tags can import. Tags are normalized to lowercase. Anki review history and scheduling do not transfer, and add-on-dependent templates may need adjustment.

Use a deck package (.apkg), not a whole-collection backup (.colpkg). You do not need to sync AlgoApp with an AnkiWeb account; importing makes a separate copy in AlgoApp.
